WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An Alabama man was sentenced to three years in prison on Tuesday after he was found with 3,000 fentanyl-laced pills during a traffic stop in Wichita.
The man, 38-year-old Russell Scott IV, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas said in September 2023, a Wichita police officer pulled Scott over for speeding on Interstate 35.
