Twenty five people were arrested and over 50 animals were rescued when, officials said, an active cockfight in Chester was broken up by police and the Pa. SPCA, over the weekend.
Officials with the Pa. SPCA said that they joined with the Pa. State Police, the Chester City Police Department and the Central Delaware Organized Crime Unit, to interrupt a cockfight in Chester that took place at a home along the 500 block of Franklin Street on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
