The Delaware State Police continues to investigate the circumstances in which a 44-year old man jumped into the muddy waters of the Appoquinimink River Wednesday evening, June 3, 2026, and died.
The victim was seen jumping off of Route 1 around 6 p.m., shutting the highway down while a search was launched.
