New Castle County Police have released additional information concerning a complex incident that began Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 2026, in the Townsend area.
It started with a medical emergency reported around 12:30 p.m. at Route 13 near Anchor Inn Road, where police found a vehicle several hundred yards into the woods with a woman inside suffering from a serious injury that required a tourniquet.
In order to expedite her treatment, county officers drove the vehicle back to the main road where she was treated by New Castle County paramedics…
