Aqua Replaces 12,530 Feet of Water Main in Delaware County

BRYN MAWR, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania is replacing more than 12,500 feet of aging water mains across Delaware County as part of an infrastructure modernization effort aimed at reducing service disruptions and improving long-term system reliability.

The utility announced upgrades totaling 12,530 feet of water main in Upper Providence Township, Springfield Township, Media Borough, Darby Borough and Yeadon Borough. The project replaces aging cast-iron pipes with ductile iron mains made from nearly 90% recycled materials.
