A pedestrian was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a dump truck along Maryland Avenue in Wilmington.
The accident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. near Brookside Drive. Preliminary information indicates a male pedestrian, believed to be in his 30s, was struck by the truck. Rescue crews from the Five Points Fire Company along New Castle County Paramedics arrive to find the man down in the roadway.
Live saving measures were performed however the man died from his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
