VIDEO | Ready to roll soon? New connection sought between Claymont, PHL

Even on a weekday, many of the hundreds of parking spaces at the two-and-a-half year old Claymont Transportation Center are empty.

A former Claymont resident now living in Philadelphia is proposing a new transit link that he believes could increase activity at the facility.

Claymont PHL Connector is the name of the project being led by Tony Benson. These days he can be found at times surveying commuters at the station now served by SEPTA and DART. The survey can also be filled out online…
