Woman killed in I‑295 crash with tractor‑trailer, N.J. State Police say

A 30-year-old South Jersey woman was killed Friday morning in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 295 in Salem County, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded at 9:34 a.m. to the southbound lanes of I-295 near milepost 7.2 in Oldmans Township, police said.

A preliminary investigation found that a Peterbilt tractor-trailer and a Chevrolet SUV were both traveling southbound when traffic slowed and the truck came to a stop in the right lane. The SUV, driven by Carly A. Corrar of Penns Grove, struck the rear of the truck, authorities said…
