City council on Monday honored Bing’s Bakery, which recently marked its 80th anniversary.
“It’s quite an accomplishment to be established and still an integral part of the community after 80 years,” said Councilman John Suchanec, who joined Mayor Travis McDermott in presenting Bing’s co-owner Carla Guzzi with an official city proclamation.
