Author Richard Templeton will share stories of workers and families affected by 120 years of explosions along the Brandywine
WILMINGTON — The story of the du Pont powder mills is often told as one of industrial innovation, business success and the growth of one of America’s best-known companies.
A Thursday evening discussion at Hagley Museum and Library will examine another side of that history: the workers who lost their lives producing black powder along the Brandywine Creek.
