For some South Jersey residents, their next Amazon haul may arrive from the sky as the delivery giant plans to begin drone deliveries in Gloucester and Camden counties in mid-October, officials said.
In a social media post Chief of Police William Murphy said Mantua Township officials recently participated in a Zoom meeting with Amazon representatives about the proposed operation.
Amazon said its proposed delivery area will include nearly all of Mantua Township and the Borough of Wenonah. The drones will launch from the Amazon facility in West Deptford Township, Murphy’s post said…
