More Than 200 Artists Will Fill Brandywine Park for Two-Day Wilmington Tradition
One of Delaware’s longest-running arts traditions will celebrate a milestone this weekend as the Brandywine Festival of the Arts marks its 65th anniversary in Wilmington’s Brandywine Park.
The two-day festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the park’s Josephine Gardens.
What began as a one-day art show in 1961 has grown into one of the country’s premier juried outdoor art festivals, welcoming thousands of visitors each year. The festival draws approximately 15,000 visitors annually…
