Two Delaware State Troopers were injured after a man resisted arrest in New Castle on Saturday evening, police said Sunday.
The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, in the area of North Dupont Highway and Hessler Boulevard, police said. There, Troopers spotted a Mitsubishi Lancer without a registration plate displayed and conducted a traffic stop, police said.
During the traffic stop, Troopers discovered that the car was not registered and did not have insurance, police said. Troopers also learned that the driver, 39-year-old Nolan Lewis, had multiple warrants out for his arrest, police said…
