Drivers heading southbound on I-95 near Newark in New Castle County should expect slowdowns this morning due to an active lane closure near Exit 5C.
According to DelDOT, the right lane on I-95 southbound at Exit 5C is shut down because of road work. The agency confirmed the incident was still active as of 9:03 AM on September 24, 2026.
