KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Caputo & Guest said it has launched a direct-to-consumer website to sell its organic specialty mushrooms nationwide, expanding access to its Pennsylvania-grown products.
The family-owned grower said the platform allows customers to purchase mushrooms cultivated at its Kennett Square facility and shipped directly to consumers.
Caputo & Guest uses a manure-free cultivation process based on a blend of oak and poplar sawdust with grains, rather than traditional compost methods, the company said…
