A late-morning crash on Interstate 95 temporarily shut down one of Delaware’s busiest corridors and left multiple people injured, according to initial reports.
The collision was dispatched just after 10:45 a.m. Monday, and a significant emergency response to the northbound lanes on the Brandywine Creek Bridge. First responders arrived to find a the crash stretching across portions of the roadway.
Preliminary information indicates that 11 people were evaluated at the scene. The majority of individuals were transported to Wilmington Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of injuries has not been released…
