Shelter runs adoption event after nearly 100 animals rescued from central Pa. home

An animal rescue organization is holding a pop-up adoption event this weekend after receiving nearly 100 animals that were rescued from a deplorable West Hempfield Township home.

On Saturday, Main Line Animal Rescue in Chester County said its shelter is full and adoption fees will be waived until Sunday for animals that have been in its care for more than 60 days.

“After taking in nearly 100 animals this week, we have completely run out of space — which means we need your help now more than ever,” the shelter said…
