SOUTH COATESVILLE, Pa. — State Police are asking for the public’s help in an unsolved homicide investigation in Chester County.
The PSP Embreeville Criminal Investigation Unit and PSP Investigation Assessment Unit announced that they are continuing their investigation into the unsolved homicide of Carnell “Poppy” Hooper.
On Sept. 28, 1999, at about 6:30 a.m., an unknown person entered Hooper’s home on Ash Street in South Coatesville Borough. State Police said Hooper began to struggle with the person and was shot and killed…
