The Wilmington Police Department has renewed its appeal for public assistance in a double homicide that has remained unsolved for more than five years.
Investigators with the department’s Cold Case Unit are asking for new information in connection with the April 23, 2021 shooting deaths of 31-year-old Jermaine Black and 31-year-old James Manlove-McKnight.
Police said officers were dispatched at approximately 8:40 p.m. to the 300 block of West 23rd Street for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located both men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were later pronounced dead as a result of their injuries…
