A familiar name is returning to Wilmington’s dining scene as Moro Bistro reopens at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. in the former Brandywine Brasserie space.

Led by two-time James Beard-nominated chef and owner Michael DiBianca , the restaurant marks the return of a concept many Delaware diners remember from Moro’s original 14-year run on North Scott Street in Trolley Square.

According to the restaurant’s public reservation information, Moro Bistro will focus on New American cuisine and tasting menus featuring locally sourced ingredients from throughout the region. The restaurant includes approximately 40 seats, a full bar and wine program, outdoor seating when weather permits, and a two-seat chef’s counter experience offering a 10-course tasting menu paired with wines and cocktails…
