New Wilmington Arts Festival Set for a Sunny Spring Debut in the Brandywine Valley
The countdown is on for the inaugural Brandywine Spring Festival of the Arts, and with sunny skies currently in the forecast, the new Wilmington-area event is shaping up to be a perfect weekend outing for art lovers, families, and even four-legged friends.
The two-day outdoor festival will take place May 16 and 17 at the Siegel JCC, located at 101 Garden of Eden Road in Wilmington. Produced by Barry’s Events, the organization behind the longtime Brandywine Festival of the Arts and Brandywine Holiday Festival of the Arts, the new spring event is designed to bring fresh energy to the local arts scene while building on a tradition many Delaware residents already know and love.
Visitors can expect more than 150 juried artists and artisans showcasing work across a variety of mediums, including painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, woodworking, and mixed media.
