NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. — Tickets to the PGA Championship have been sold out since July, but prices on the resale market have been dropping.
Face value for the Championship+ general admission passes, which include unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, ranged from $199 for the first round to $299 on the weekend, before taxes and fees, a PGA of America spokesperson told Front Office Sports.
But as of Wednesday morning, prices for all four rounds were significantly lower on SeatGeek, the official ticket provider of the PGA Championship.
- Round 1, Thursday: $143
- Round 2, Friday: $179
- Round 3, Saturday: $233
- Final Round, Sunday: $212
After some early forecasts of rain, the weather during the tournament is now expected to be mostly clear, and not a factor in turning any fans away…
