Hockessin Fire Company to Be Honored During Family-Friendly Appreciation Day at Woodside Farm Creamery
Families will have a chance to celebrate local first responders while enjoying food, hands-on activities, and community fun during Fire Company Appreciation Day at Woodside Farm Creamery on Saturday, June 6 from noon to 6pm.
The event begins at noon at Woodside Farm Creamery and will feature members of Hockessin Fire Company, Station 19, for an afternoon dedicated to recognizing the firefighters who serve the community year-round.
Visitors can explore a variety of fire trucks and community outreach equipment brought by the fire company, while children will have the opportunity to climb inside the trucks and even operate a small fire hose.
