SUNSET BEACH, Brunswick County — A baby squirrel is now in the care of a wildlife rehabilitator after falling from a tree in Sunset Beach.
According to the Sunset Beach Police Department, Animal Control Officer Arp was called to Chandlers Lane after someone reported the baby squirrel had fallen.
Police say Officer Arp made several attempts to reunite the baby squirrel with its mother, but those efforts were unsuccessful…
