NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing man last seen at a beach access in New Hanover County.
Deputies said Jared Ulson Wheeler, 39, was last seen Sunday, May 24, at the beach access located at 8 Bayberry Place on Figure Eight Island. He is 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, with an average build, blue eyes and a bald head.
