WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A local family says their son’s proposed Eagle Scout project was rejected by the Battleship North Carolina, leaving them confused and frustrated.
Harrison Hennessey and his family wanted to install a new flagpole at the battleship as part of his Eagle Scout project, but the site’s executive director turned them down.
