WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Families will have several opportunities to participate in educational and holiday-themed activities at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington during the Fourth of July weekend and the week that follows.
The museum’s annual Feature Fridays program begins the weekend’s events on Friday, July 3. Canines for Service will visit from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by Big Little Learners from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The summer series highlights local organizations and gives visitors an opportunity to learn about services available throughout the Cape Fear region.
On Saturday, July 4, the museum will host a special “After Hours” event from 6 to 8:30 p.m., giving families time to visit before watching the city’s Fourth of July fireworks nearby. The event will also feature American-themed activities…
