WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW Athletics has reached another fundraising milestone, with the Seahawk Club surpassing $10 million in donations during the 2026 fiscal year.
The Seahawk Club raised $10,102,270 from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, marking the third consecutive year the organization has set a new fundraising record. This year’s total represents a $2 million increase from the previous record-setting year.
“Having three years of record-breaking fundraising is a direct result of the passion of the UNCW community,” UNCW Director of Athletics Michael Oblinger said. “Our student-athletes represent UNCW with pride and embody what it means to be a Seahawk.
