Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — An overnight fire damaged an apartment building at The Preserve at Pine Valley in Wilmington, displacing several residents and sending one firefighter to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Wilmington Fire Department said crews responded to the apartment complex on Wickslow Road around midnight. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, limiting the damage to one building.
