WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT/Gray News) – Two people were struck by lightning on Shell Island on Saturday morning, officials said.
Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue Director Sam Proffitt said it happened about 11:45 a.m. as the two people were walking on the beach.
