BOLIVIA, N.C. (WECT) – New concerns are surfacing in Brunswick County over the widespread use of controversial Flock license plate reader cameras and how law enforcement handles the data they collect.
During Monday night’s Brunswick County Board of Commissioners meeting in Bolivia, Commissioner Randy Thompson requested that a formal discussion regarding the surveillance technology be added to the agenda. The item was not originally scheduled for the meeting.
