The city of Wilmington is pushing back against a civil lawsuit filed by its former planning and development zoning administrator.
While acknowledging that a decision to fire Kathryn Thurston had been made before she resigned in December 2025, the city denied violating her constitutional rights, coercing her resignation or denying her due process.
