HOLLY RIDGE, N.C. — The second annual Bee Festival in Holly Ridge created quite a buzz Saturday as the street fair drew crowds with its array of vendors, food, and children’s activities. The festival aims to raise awareness about the crucial role bees play in the environment.
Ben Neville, a participant at the festival, said, “We’ve got two hives that need queens right now and we raise bees. We have two farms and we came up to the Bee Festival in Holly Ridge to get queen bees.”…
