Man arrested after discharging weapon on Noland Drive, prompting school lockdown

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO) made an arrest Monday after a man discharged a weapon inside a home on Noland Drive near Wilmington Christian Academy.

According to court documents, Joshua David Allen, 40, was arrested on April 20 and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm and resisting a public officer.
