WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Sunny, dry high pressure will grow temps from near 70 Tuesday to well into the 80s later in the week. Much needed rain chances perk up between the 25th and 30th, including 20% Saturday, 30% Sunday through Tuesday, 40% Wednesday, and 30% Thursday. Should these chances all fall flat and moisture fail to materialize, Wilmington’s rainfall deficit will swell past seven inches since January 1, 2026 and to nearly 30 inches since January 1, 2024.
