The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will begin geotechnical boring work on the Salisbury Long Bridge starting Monday, April 27, 2026. This work is expected to continue for approximately three weeks, with daily operations occurring between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
During this period, temporary lane closures will be in place. Flaggers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and help ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles through the work zone.
