First Alert Forecast: last chances for April showers

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast opens with temps reaching the 70s with fair skies Tuesday and falling to near 60 under increasing clouds Tuesday night. Wednesday will have a batch of thicker clouds and possible showers – especially between 6 and 2 – and stray storms – especially between 2 and 8 – with temps again lofting to the 70s. Expect lower rain chances to return Wednesday night into Thursday, April 30, with cool to mild lows and highs in the 50s and 70s to close the month.

While April showers have been at a premium overall, Sundays have been a wetter exception. To close the month, some rare weekday rain chances include 10% Tuesday (inland), 60% Wednesday, and 20% Thursday. pic.twitter.com/hdTkYNI7Lk
