QUINCY — The State Police Association of Massachusetts is celebrating one of its own after Trooper Matt Johnson of Troop H Detectives received the Trooper Mark S. Charbonnier Award for outstanding investigative work.
Johnson was recognized at Quincy District Court for his leadership as the lead investigator in a shooting case. According to the association, his “unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to justice” exemplified the highest standards of the Massachusetts State Police.
The award was presented by Massachusetts State Police Colonel Geoffrey Noble and retired Detective Lieutenant Ken Halloran. Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and House Speaker Ronald Mariano also attended the ceremony to honor Johnson’s achievements…
