BOSTON (WWLP) – The Massachusetts RMV announced the start of the annual low plate lottery applications.
Breakthrough appears near on early literacy bill
This year, the RMV is making 237 standard license plates available to eligible state residents, such as 318, 7575, 8J, 66K, V3, and L99. Requests for specific plate numbers will not be honored. Applicants for the lottery must have a current, active, registered, and insured vehicle.
Applications must be submitted online by August 14. Winners and alternate winners will be selected using an electronic random number generator and notified by the RMV by September 15.
There is no fee to enter the lottery; however, winners will be required to pay a special plate fee in addition to the standard vehicle registration fee.
