FITCHBURG – Thanks to a new app, students in the city’s middle and high schools may not have to pack their phones away when they go to class.
Starting this September, Fitchburg Public Schools will try the Doorman app for the year. During the School Committee meeting on June 1, member Debra Jeffries told of a recent meeting with one of the co-founders of Doorman, and how the app could answer some of the questions with cell phone policies, such as parental contact.
