The City of Worcester announced Monday that parks and a tavern by Coes Pond have reopened, one week after authorities concluded their search for the wife of a slain Worcester police officer.
The city also announced that Coes Reservoir has reopened after being closed on Aug. 28 due to large amounts of cyanobacteria.
On Aug. 21, the city made an announcement that Coes Pond, Coes Reservoir, Coes Park, Columbus Park, Knights of Columbus Park and Stearns Tavern were to be closed while police searched for Karen Solomon, the wife of 30-year police veteran Kurt Solomon.
