PAWS New England, a New England–based 501(c) all-breed dog rescue, is highlighting Ruby as an adoptable dog whose story reflects what the organization calls a day “for resilience,” “positivity,” and “staying hopeful,” according to PAWS New England. The rescue says Ruby is a “gorgeous, young girl” who survived extreme hardship while caring for her puppies “in the freezing cold,” and that she was also placed on a euthanasia list before being saved and brought into their care.
