Massachusetts residents still have a little time Friday to prepare before a massive nor’easter hits the state, plunging the region into a weekend of heavy rain and flooding.
Precipitation is not expected to begin until the late afternoon or early evening in most parts of the state, according to the National Weather Service, and the heaviest rains won’t hit until Saturday afternoon.
