The Marlborough Police and Fire departments will be outsourcing its emergency dispatch services.
On Monday, the City Council voted unanimously to have Mayor Christian Dumais enter into a contract for the city to join the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center, a move supported by both Police Chief David Giorgi and Fire Chief Jeffrey Gogan.
Giorgi said the city has been talking regionalizing several years and decided the Holbrook center was a “great opportunity,” for the city. The move is expected to take place on July 1, 2028…
