Two men indicted in alleged Worcester fentanyl conspiracy, firearms case

WORCESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – Two men have been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with an alleged conspiracy to distribute fentanyl in Worcester County.

According to federal prosecutors, Richard Molina-Ovalle, 36, of Worcester, and Jose Molina-Ovalle, 27, a Dominican national who prosecutors say was unlawfully residing in Worcester, were charged with conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and related offenses.

Jose Molina-Ovalle also faces charges related to allegedly possessing firearms as an undocumented noncitizen and illegal reentry into the United States.

Richard Molina-Ovalle was arrested and charged in September and was released on conditions. He is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court in Boston on Oct. 13…
