TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Lucas County grand jury indicted the two alleged Old West End Fest shooters on dozens of charges each on Wednesday.
Police said Ka’Nye Taylor and Eljay Crisp-Carr, who police said were part of rival gangs, allegedly fired at each other and into a crowd at the Toledo festival on June 6. Toledo Police said 12 people suffered gunshot wounds.
Court filings from June 24 said a Lucas County grand jury indicted Eljay Crisp-Carr on 25 counts of attempted murder, 26 counts of felonious assault, two counts of aggravated riot and tampering with evidence. Numerous charges for Crisp-Carr also carry criminal gang activity specifications…
