COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for someone they say intentionally cut down a Flock license plate reader camera in Cooper Township.
According to Sheriff Richard Fuller, the camera on D Avenue was damaged by someone who got out of a car and cut it down.

Flock cameras capture license plate information and vehicle characteristics, such as make, model and color.
Fuller says the cameras do not use facial recognition technology and that collected data is automatically deleted after 30 days unless it is tied to a criminal investigation…
