Summerville man who posed as missionary accused of harassing residents, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department arrested a Summerville man on Thursday evening after he allegedly harassed two residents for two consecutive days.

According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers responded to an apartment complex on Evangeline Drive after hearing reports of a man banging on a victim’s door. Officers said they already knew of the suspect’s description and vehicle because he had allegedly harassed the victims the previous day and threatened to kill one of them.

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect allegedly tried to flee after spotting a patrol vehicle, but officers stopped him at the complex’s entrance, NCPD says…
