Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine: Greater Cleveland to gain new jobs in Euclid, Solon and Sugar Creek Township

  • Ohio Tax Credit Authority approves seven statewide projects, including three in Greater Cleveland, expected to create over 1,200 new jobs and generate $84.7 million in new payroll.

Three Greater Cleveland projects are among seven statewide approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, a move expected to bring new jobs and expand manufacturing capacity across the region, according to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Gov. DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel and Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced the approvals following the Authority’s monthly meeting. The projects were supported through proposals submitted by JobsOhio and regional partners.

Statewide, the seven approved projects are expected to create 1,221 new jobs, retain 1,089 jobs and generate more than $84.7 million in new payroll, along with more than $1.1 billion in capital investment, according to state officials…
