MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have arrested a Wilmer man on an elder abuse charge after he allegedly assaulted a co-worker.
Man found shot on Government Street, Mobile police investigating
According to MPD officials, 37-year-old Timothy Williams was arrested on Sunday, June 28, after officers were called to a hospital for a report of an assault on June 12.
When officers arrived, they said they learned that Williams and his co-worker were at the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office on Saint Emanuel Street, performing work for their construction company, when the incident occurred.
Officials said the charge comes from the victim’s age and injuries.
